TAG III, Now I'm *Bleepin'* Ticked

Ok. On another Diesel forum I'm on, I was warned against using this company after I had already purchased some reman'd injectors from them, and they were supposed to have a credit from an injector pump core that they never gave us. *sigh* First off, yes. I know it would have been smarter to just go get new injectors. But, we were trying to save this customer money. That was our first mistake.

So, we ordered. Our order was placed on 3/25/10 for two reman'd injectors. Free shipping. Price was half of what new ones are, so we were pleased. We waited... and waited... and waited. The farmer kept calling and calling and calling. We called them, and they hadn't even shipped them 2 weeks later! They said that none of their injectors were alledgedly passing their quality control test, but that some would go out that day. Odd, I know. I should have picked up on it at that point that they were full of bulldooky. None of them passed quality control but amazingly, when I called, they had some that could go out RIGHT THEN. I'm an idiot for believing them.

So they shipped. 5 days later, because there was a weekend in there, they showed up. Tear down, replace, new wiring harnesses etc... and dead cylinder still. One worked. One didn't. And one was shaky still. So we ordered another, to replace the one that wasn't working, hoping the shaky one would straighten out.

A week goes by... and still no injector. I call, and again, they haven't shipped. No excuse this time, just that they didn't ship. So, after I get upset, they ship next day air, for only 8 dollars my cost. Yes. That's right. I got charged shipping for their mistake. But whatever.

Injector shows up, and surprise surprise. It's junk.

Keep in mind, these 'remanufactured' injectors had new seals, but NOT new solenoids! Basically, I was buying a used injector that passed some stupid bench ohm test, and they tossed on some 15 dollar seal kits and bam. 130 bucks for a reman'd injector! :(

So we called... and called... and called. No answer. We called again this morning, no answer. Call call call. Finally around noon, I get smart. I dial *67 before my number to block my number from caller ID, and I get an answer, and the woman on the line plays it off like she's been there all day.

Whatever. So, after going off on them about their bad injectors, the guy says he's going to send me some more next day. Then, about half an hour later, I get a call saying they're not going to send me any and just want to give me a refund. Ok. No big deal. I've already purchased some at the dealership in town and they were on their way. I had already come to the conclusion that I didn't want to keep trying their USED injectors.

What irritates me is that this customer is pretty irked that we couldn't do this job in a timely fashion, all because this company who alledgedly sells more injectors than any other company couldn't do their job right and are selling bogus used injectors as reman'd.

CAUTION! Diesel Care and Performance out of Millington TN are crooks! If you're smart, you'll go elsewhere for your parts!
