2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission warm ambient florida temps - how long to warm the engine in the am?

Scott, when my oil pressure comes up, I start driving, but I keep my RPMs under 2K until my temp comes up. This is what I've learned to be the best approach by reading this board.
