When the engine's cold it start right up, but after it reaches operating temp(185ish) and I shut it off, upon restarting the engine just cranks and cranks. I let it cool back down to 130 or so and it starts right up again. It seems be getting fuel b/c I popped the injectors and deisel spurts right out during the cranking process. Any thoughts?

It would help if you would give information about your truck. You can put the information in a signature and it will show every time you post on a new thread.

Have you added a pusher pump with the factory pump? Too much fuel pressure is a common cause of hard starting when hot. Been there...

Good point. I'm new to this sort of thing. 92, 250, 4wd, extended cab. I did havesome trouble with the truck heating up(see thread in 1st gen), but since putting in a Cummins thermostat it heats up nicely. No added pump, but I did put in a vortex horsepower booster(spins the incoming air).

Since you had posted in the "911" forum, I had no idea what truck you have. My comments apply to a 2nd Gen truck... not to your 1st Gen.
