Warn m-12000 hookup ???

I have a brand new warn 12k winch sitting in the garage waiting for the arival of my denver offroad bumper. I was looking for tips on hooking it up. Where to run the wires, which battery to hook up to and anything else that could be helpful.

Hey Ted,



I have a Prozap bumper but, I hooked the power wires up to the drivers side battery. The reason is that the passenger side is piggybacked to the driverside and the more copper you add (cables going to the passengerside) the more voltage and current loss you get. Get some Heater hose to protect the wires from abrasion from the bumper mounts.
