Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I'm getting a really bad vibration coming from the driveshaft on slow acceleration and decelerations. I sat in the bed and watched the driveshaft vibrate and move as the I could feel the truck shake. It’s the driveshaft!
Anybody else have/had this issue???
About 2 weeks ago I had the truck at Circle Dodge, NJ for this complaint. They said the truck runs fines and can't find anything wrong with it, but were happy to change the oil and fuel filter. I then asked if they checked out the driveshaft bushing. They said nope, nothing wrong with it. I then slightly pushed it saying there must be something wrong with it as the truck never made this noise/vibration when new or after installing the 4" ProComp lift kit. Well, I'm sure you could guess what his response was. The lift kit probably contributed to this problem and we can't warranty the part and labor. I realize I'm on my own here and not upset about it. What gets me is they tried to tell me NOTHING is wrong and I had to push to get the real story. Ah well..... $158 + some bruised knuckle and she'll be good as new.
