Warn steps

The Warn steps are now available for the 03 heavy duty. They are a different part# than the 1/2tons.

According to their tech line, the part # is 66210.

I just ordered a set for my wifes 3500.

For those not familiar with the steps, they are rubber/poly covered steel and most important to me, they attach to the frame.

I have had a set on my 01 since new in 4/00 and they were on my 98. 5 before that.

My wife uses them all the time to get in and her 03 sits even higher than the 01.

Being the cheapskate I am I want to make some for our 02 myself. I was wondering if there was a chance you could get me some pics of how they mount to the frame. That's the only part that has me baffled right now.

The photos that I attempted of the steps mounted to the frame didn't come out, too dark I think.

I'm looking for the original paper work that came with the steps, and will scan them and e-mail them to you.

I'm going to try and make them wheel to wheel. That way I can easily access the front of the bed. That's why I have to go to the frame, to much flex between the cab and the bed.

I looked all over the Warn site and can't find them anywhere. They were on there about a year ago, but the original date of this thread is 5-19-2003! I don't think they are available anymore.
