Just a warning to anyone thinking about ordering anything from Laguna Speed Shop in Orange Co. My buddy ordered a Smarty through them a month ago with his debit card(I've lectured him on this screwup). No product despite multiple phone calls. Too date he's had the total runaround. The latest excuse is that it'll be 30-45 days for a refund. Sucks bigtime. My buddy's been in contact w/Bob Wagner and he's had other complaints. Sounds like monetary problems. They are an authorized dealer, but I'm sure not for long.

Had similar treatment when i ordered my fluid dampner,i won't do business with them again!!
Sorry you've had a similiar experience. At least using a credit card you have protection. My buddy's been told every lie in the book. Trying to avoid incurring debt he used his debit card, never again!

My debit card carries the Visa logo. I am protected just as much as if I would have used my credit card. Anyone who wants to argue with me might as well not do it cause I used to work for the bank and had to fill out the dispute forms for the poor folks who were cheated many times. Get a good bank with a big company backing their debit cards.

Same for my VISA card. It's debit or credit whichever way I want and fully backed and protected for both types of transaction.

Hey guys, saw this and thought I might chime in. I'm a former bank manager with over 5 years experience. I've worked with JP Morgan, Bank of America, and Capital One. Just so you know, you can get the protection from Visa/Mastercard on your debit card as JDiepstra said. However, in order to be protected you have to ask the clerk to run the transaction as a Credit transaction instead of a Debit transaction. So you end up signing for the purchase rather than entering your pin. IMO this is safer anyway as no one can observe you and see what your pin is.

And for future credit card buys. If you don't receive your merchandise before 30 days put in a dispute with your credit card company. Even if you are buying furniture ect. that they say will take 90 days for you to receive still put in dispute. This will protect you .

I'm surprised to hear about these problems. I bought my injectors from them and had a great experience. I bought DDP's and decided they were too big and needed smaller ones. I called DDP and they were more than happy to exchange them, but said I have to contact Laguna to initiate the paperwork since they were the original retailer. Fair enough. Laguna helped me through this no questions asked and I got my exchanged set of injectors with no problem and at no extra cost. Granted this was about a year ago and things may have changed since then. Too bad they seemed to have gone downhill.

Bad luck with them as well. I got the run-around when I tried to buy a MBRP system. Sure, they took my money- then they didnt deliver. Credit Card Co saved the day.

I was called "smug" by the customer service rep on the phone when I told them I had the charges stopped after not receiving product or a phone call. I wont even look at their ads-
