I just bought another toy but I think the head might possibly be warped or blown head gasket maybe. A lil info on it, its a 94, auto, 199,000 miles, I bought it at a repo lot so they had no answers to any of my questions. It wasn't running when I bought it(didn't have inj. lines). I got it home and looked through it and from what I can tell is it just had the stock plate in full forward pos. I got it running a couple days ago and coolant started to bubble out the rad cap then 5-10 sec. later it started to spray pretty heavily out the overflow bottle :{ . The engine sounded good at idle and there was no white smoke while running, I changed the oil and no coolant in it :) , so I started to ? about the blown head gasket. Could anybody help me out or give me some suggestions, if you want to know about any further info let me know. Much appreciated.

Luke.

Sounds like a head gasket seep that is not yet bad enough to allow coolant into the cylinders. After starting it up when cold, do you get pressure in the cooling system quickly? (Squeeze the upper hose before starting then a few seconds after) If so, you may well have ahead gasket seep. A cracked head will, most of the time, leak when cold, and fill a cylinder. But all rulls have exceptions.

There is another post simular to yours, you might want to read it and apply some of the things there.
