warranty extension

I need your opinions on a warranty extension offer I got in the mail for my '97 2500. The truck is out of warranty at 80,000 miles, so the guy said it would be more than normal to put it back in for another 3/36,000 like it originaly had for the bumper to bumper. He said it would be $421 down,and 15 payments of $91. I will probably be through the miles in about 18-22 months. Is it worth it?

If you haven’t had major problems thus far, with proper preventative maintenance you probably won’t. I would invest the $$$ and save for a rainy day before I would pay the price this warranty requires. DAve

I see in your sig. you have an auto. Around 3,500 to 4,000 bucks to upgrade. I got my bucks out of my extended warr. It's about 3,000 to exchange fo OE trans.
