I am not sure but I will have an answer for you on Wednesday. I have a Volant CAI and am not taking it off when my truck goes in. I will keep you updated.

Made it into the shop today. It really just depends on who you talk to. I was able to talk to the mechanic today and he is all for mod the trucks so no problems here. Maybe take it off this time and then "feel out" the service manager and see what he thinks about an air filter mod. Or better yet, if there is a warranty manager talk to him about it. I talked to one of them today about using the ATF+4 from Valvoline and he said it was fine. I know some others on here say the dealers would give them static if they were not using the Mopar Brand.

Thanks

Hey, thanks for checking. I'll feel my dealer out. Guess if the air mod is all I ever do, switching it back to factory when I take it in is no big deal.

I don't think the air mod will be any big deal to any dealer, it's the "boxes" and high performance stuff thats going to get you in trouble.

ATF +4 is a Chrysler product! The formula is licensed to companies to make it or relabel it. Why would Dodge have a problem with us using a product that they permitted another company to produce. It's the identical formula!!

The best thing to do is to alk to your local dealer and see what they have to say about it. If they down it then you know to take it off before you go in for any work.

I had read that some individuals were worried about warranty coverage... pertaining more to transmissions. It was rumored that the non-Mopar ATF+4 said "performs like ATF+4". I would not know as I have never seen the labeling. Anyways, I believe it is safe to say that Dodge can be a stickler sometimes and I just wanted to be safe and not sorry! :-{}

Anybody tell me if installing either the CBH or AFE air intake will effect the factory warranty?
The CBH should not have any effect on warranty if you keep your stock air intake. We even have some Dodge dealers who sell and install the CBH, such as Carson Dodge.
