Can you guys quote me the warranties. A not so enlightened friend of mine has been misled by the dealer to profit their pockets. I dont have my warranty book. They told him the warranty didnt cover anything outside the engine(just the internals ie crankshaft pistons) so that he would buy an additional warranty for 2 grand. I told him to return it and get an outside warranty if he really wanted a security blanket. So what is covered and how long so I can print it out for him. Hey all a great thing to lookup on the net is how to fight for your warranty. I found a website www.allpar.com thats right all chrysler. TIA

I bought the extra warranty. My lift pump just kicked the bucket and the stealer told me that it was not covered on the 3/36000 mile warranty but my extended warranty covered it... The way I look at is 4 more lift pumps and it pays for itself. . ;)

Lift pump on my truck is covered under the 7 year 70K mile emissions warranty and also under my 5 year 100K mile extended warranty. The warranty is different by model year. You need to get a copy and read it. Don't let the dealer tell you what it says. Take it out of the truck and tell the dealer what it says.

the 3 year 36k warranty is bumper to bumper. For him to say not covered is another lie. So it is covered under emissions pit bull. I think when we switched to obd2 the 7 years 70k became mandatory. I think obd2 came out in 97. anyone know?
