If you break a major part on the truck, Dodge is going to look for signs of a box or mod that could have caused it. The best answer is if you are concerned about that "if" you break it and they find evidence of a mod that could void your warranty, then don't mod it.

Like it was said above, If you want to add HP---- be ready to pay for what breaks.

Yeah pretty much anyone that is putting a programer in the ECM is having a problem. If your worried go with a box that just fools the ECM rather than a programmer.

Has anyone had any experience with Dodge factory warranty after a chip has been installed?

Yes, me.

They can detect most if not all programmers, boxes, etc. etc. There is only one programmer that the users claim it's nondetectable but the producer will not 100% back it up.

I think the only way to settle that argument is for the manufacturer of the box to offer to pay for repairs not covered in the event their product is detected by a dealer, and warranty service denied. The old "put your money where your mouth is" clause :-laf

It sure seems like DC is actively now seeking reasons to void warranties. This is because too many have gone to the well too many times with illegitimate claims. This is DC's "revenge" if you will. They may or may not void your warranty, they may or may not question mods, depends on the dealer. It is certainly a risk and I think the last cliche' for the post would be, "if you want to play, you're gonna have to pay" ;)
