Wash, clay, and wax

It's been a long time since I did a proper wash and wax on my 06. First of all, it's a BIG DANG TRUCK! After washing, the paint looked pretty good and felt fairly smooth. I just clayed our MINI and figured I'd see what happened with the Dodge. I was amazed how much more crap came off the paint! The clay started to turn a yellowish/brown color. I couldn't see that on the paint, but it was obviously there. And a wax after the clay just seems to look better. Next time, I think I'll use some of the Meguiar's ScratchX to try and remove some of the Nevada pin striping I've acquired over the last few years. Anyway, the truck looks great, except for numerous rock chips. Little, ittybitty ones.

The clay is an excellent cleaner, and it's not too difficult if done on a regular basis.
