What is the best method for me to increase my boost to about 28-32 psi range?

My sig has my modest mods. I am running Superchips on max right now.

thanks

Go to the classafieds and Ron Troxall has an adjustable boost elbow for something like 15$. I have one and I'm running 33LBS of boost now. Don't forget that you need a boost fooler on your MAP sensor not to throw the over-boost code.

I also used the . 22 shell on the HY-35 a ways back, yanked bullet/dumped powder and installed. . Cheap as hell but works as long as you fool boost.

So the 22 shell works on a HY? I read about that a while back, and thought it was for the HX's. I'm thinking about adding a set of injectors, along with gauges. I know it's a SIN to be running without gauges, but I found a good deal on the EZ and couldn't let it sit in the garage till I save up some $$$ for the gauges, and decide which ones I want. ;) But anyway, I'm thinkin I'll need more boost with a set of injectors to clean up smoke in town. Just thinking about 275's for now, but at the alt. around here I can smoke pretty good from a stop light with just the EZ.

Then hopefully by this time next year I can have a DTT or ATS transmission and put in bigger injectors and upgrade the turbo... ... ... man it never ends does it??????

Just built an adjustable (fully) boost adjuster out of a brass 1/4" needle valve and some 1/4" barded fittings and a 6" piece of 1/4" fuel line. Works great:D allowed me to adjust mine to 38psi right where I wanted and not the 43psi when the wastegate was plugged.

1. 1/4" brass needle valve $5. 20

2. 1/4" barbed fittings (2) $1. 87x2

3. 1/4" fuel line 6" $ 1. 00

Total $8. 94

Happy as a Lark!!!

Your set-up will not work on the late models with autos as well, their signal line is a metal tube direct from actuator to turbo. :(

Can you cut the metal line and install hose?

I'll get a picture but it will probubly be Mon. because I'm going out of town.

There is no separate line... . the hardline presses directly into the turbo, that line is part of the actuator. Yes you could cut the line and add hose but there are easier ways.
