Wastegate Adjustment

I want to adjust my wastegate to build bigger boost. I'm topping out @ 22-24psi on a hard run. I'm running the Banks Big Head. Hoping this isn't to hard of an adjustment. TIA

scott, if you have an 04. 0 like mine, start banking some money for a replacement turbo. :-laf



once you hit about 40 psi and back off too fast like i did, you may need new parts. then again, i was looking for an excuse.



it's worth it though.

You can"t hit 40psi without changing the elbow. With the Six Gun, Some are using the banks actuator with other systems, Then you can hit 40 Plus. The actuator have been available since last May June.

Why would you want to hit 40psi with a 9cm turbo? I wonder what back pressure is at that point?

Your not gaining power after about 35psi (maybe less) with that turbo.

I would not recommend anything over 32-34 Max PSI. After that on stock turbo thier is no benefit.
