i was just wondering what to do, the wastegate hose going from turbo to wastgate has been rubbing on a hose along side it and has developed a hole. should i plug it and if i do how will this effect performance. i also considered putting a new hose on and just crimping it but not completely plugging it off. would this help at all?

I've found that you can't "limit" the wastegate by crimping the lines a certain amount... it's either on or off. If you have an aftermarket torque plate, you could probably benefit by just disabling the wastegate all together being you have more fueling to match more air.

I put a restriction in the line on mine. You get a line restrictor from TST products also. You can adjust the shaft on the wastegate too. I went from about 22 psi to 28 psi now.

Jeff H, where is the shaft on the wastegate and how do i go about adjusting it, im still in the learning process so bear with me, haha:D
