I just installed the ez on my truck last week. I have not put the turnbuckle on yet. Question... do I really need to install it. What happens if I do not.

Higher egts.

I would install it. I used the boost elbow with my ETH (HX turbo). The higher boost psi's (28 back them while otherwise stock) kept my egt's below what I had when completely stock.
