Anyone got connections at a Ford Dealership?

Who needs Gun Control?????

I just got back a few days ago from a trip from Boulder City NV thru the Salmon River Valley up tp Misoula and then on to Kalispell I finally camped at MacGregor Lake Nat Rec area which was nice. The bad part is I hit a deer doing 65 while hauling my travel trailer. $2000. 00 worth of damage to the Ram I was able to drive it back home should get it fixed next week and we are heading back up to MT. gotta tell you it scared the sh-- out of me and I'm glad it wasn't worse. Just be aware of the possibility of animals on the road. This was unavoidable the way it happened but be aware anyway. Have a great trip.

The deer whisles that attach to your bumper don't work 100%, but they do work. All WA State Patrol cars are equipted with them, if that means anything after hearing of the Seattle cops trying to shoot each other. They are cheap insurance though, I have them on all my rigs, whenever I see deer most are running the other way.

RichB59, Sorry to hear about your Ram. I ended up getting a brush/grille guard for my truck after my deer incident. In my neck of the wood we have a high deer population. Well one night I was heading home and traveling at 55 MPH I seen a deer about 50 feet in front of me from the corner of my eye running perfectly perpendicular to my truck, so I hit the brakes and downshifted to hopefully would miss him, but unfornately I didn't stop quick enough as my passenger side it the deer. Any way it push my bumper in and busted my fog light. The bumper was very close to hitting the condenser and intercooler which would be high dollar replacements. Well the deer did $900 damage to my truck. It seem most people that get really bad damage are the people that serve to miss the deer and hit something else in the process or roll.

For that reason I have a TJM bumper/brushguard with Hella Ralley 2000 lights hooked to the high beams. I say they light up a good 3/4 mile in a bright wide pattern. I got them for my travels in Canada and Alaska. They saved me a few times. Glad you are ok. Had a friend that hit a hog, in Tx. , driving a 72 VW bug. I never knew those things would jump before you hit em. John was cut up and he now owns a convertable bug, took the top right off.

US ARMY vs. Bambi

One night, in October of '89, on the way back to the barracks at Fort Chaffee, Arkansas, we (PLDC student NCO's) were in the back of a 5-ton, when we felt the truck decelerate, heard a mild "thud" and before we could even say "WTF?" one of the cadre poked his head thru the flap and said, "we just killed Bambi"

no damage to a bumper like that
