It is kinda late posting this. Sometime this winter I must have backed up too close to a snowbank. The tailpipe rode up and hit the quaterpanel. I guess there is enough flex in the hangers.
 
I had much the same happen to me except it also pushed the exhaust pipe up against the frame, made a horrible rattling sound. Couldn't bend it back till I took a torch to it.

I've had that look going on for over 6 months now... thought it was the cool thing to do... no?



Don't know how I got mine, and no big deal, as my pax side is full of dents and other "imperfections".

Ouch.



Reminds me of the "exhaust" my Dad made at the shop one day for his 79 plow truck.



It was like 2" pipe, if that and the tailpipe stuck out like a foot passed the rear tire.



Like 3 days after he threw that junk on, I back into a "furrow" while plowing and folding the pipe against the back tire :-laf
