Anyone know where the WIF sensor and plug are on the 4th gen trucks?
As of this morning when it was damp outside my WIF light was on in the truck. I've already driven over 300 miles on this tank over the past week and it never came on until it sat from Saturday afternoon till 5am this morning. Got in truck light dinged on and stayed on all way to work.
Parked at work. Drained my fass water separator and light stayed on. Having the fass system im bypassing all the factory stuff so no fuel is actually going to the factory fuel bowl on the engine or the water separator that was installed on the truck from the dealership. This tells me I'm actually bypassing the factory WIF sensor as well so how would it know if there was actually water in the fuel or not?
