Anyone know where the WIF sensor and plug are on the 4th gen trucks?

As of this morning when it was damp outside my WIF light was on in the truck. I've already driven over 300 miles on this tank over the past week and it never came on until it sat from Saturday afternoon till 5am this morning. Got in truck light dinged on and stayed on all way to work.

Parked at work. Drained my fass water separator and light stayed on. Having the fass system im bypassing all the factory stuff so no fuel is actually going to the factory fuel bowl on the engine or the water separator that was installed on the truck from the dealership. This tells me I'm actually bypassing the factory WIF sensor as well so how would it know if there was actually water in the fuel or not?

Update, the light goes off after about 30 seconds of driving.

I'll start with the plug on the frame then. That one has given me an issue before. Maybe it just needs cleaned and greased and recovered.

Anyone know if the water wetter remover stuff is safe for our trucks?

Yeah that's what I thought but under my driver rear door on the frame is the mopar fuel water separator that came already installed on the truck.

Someone ordered this truck prior to me buying and then weren't able to get it do the dealer just had it in the lot.

I installed a fass 150 which runs 1/2" fuel lines from the pump to the cp3 directly.

I think drained all fuel from the engine bowl and frame filter and closed off the he lines with plugs in case I need to swap on the side of the road I can.

I check the filters regularly still and replace at 30k miles

You may have the B20 kit. Not sure on 2012 but on my 06, the B20 kit included an additional filter the was mount around the cab/bed junction. It had a WIF sensor also.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I do. I have the part number somewhere but last I changed it I had to order the whole kit off eBay for like 63$ just to get the filter cause they don't make them anymore.

Hence why I went to fass. Anyway to bypass the frame sensor?

Just unplug I think. Could also go in with AlfaOBD and turn it off I believe since it has to be enabled when the dealer installs the kit.

If it in anything like my 06 the filter has a connector on the bottom.
