Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Water in Fuel sending unit

while i was changing my fuel filter, i discovered that one of the wires connected to the pigtail of my water in fuel sensor (the black thing that screws to the underside of the fuel filter) was torn off! is this anything to worry about? does anyone have a part number or would this just give me an excuse to buy the fuel filter re-location kit from geno's?

Same sort of thing on my 96 but the wires were weeping fuel. Kind of a pee poor setup. So I was fool enough to rush to dodge and got reamed for 46. 00 . Genos has them for 16. 00. Now I have a spare in the tk for next time.

Dodge is a ripoff... . 30 dollars for a fuel filter, 11 dollars at the truck center



go figure
