Does anyone have a p/n for the Water in fuel sensor on the bottom of the fuel filter. I called the local cummins dealer and he told me I had to buy the whole filter housing and mount. :--) :--) :--) :--)

Any help would be appreciated.

Might be able to get it at, say, NAPA or Carquest. If you have a Cummins shop, they should be able to get you one. Maybe try a C-IH/New Holland or John Deere dealer, too. They use water sensors on some of their equipment. Might be able to cross a number.

WIF/fuel filter

When I bought the WIF sensor from Cummins (San Bernardino/Riverside So. CA) I had to buy the filter with it, (an extra fuel filter, good to have in your rig), but it was just those two-pieces  Sorry, I could not find the part number

Patrick.

Check with Geno's Garage. I think they sell the WIF sensor if the sensor is mounted in the bottom of the fuel filter itself.

Here is the part number for just the sender unit on the bottom of the fuel filter.

Cummins Cal Pacific Part number# 383185200 S

Unit price $28. 99

I had to buy one a couple of months ago.

Yep Geno's has them for not much. One could also unplug it, or use Fleetguard FS1221. Has a nice twist drain and no sensor port. About a buck cheaper than the stock FS1232 filter.
