water in fuel

okay every time I hose off my engine compartment I get the water in fuel icon. Fuel filter cap is not loose. I replace the filter and thourghly clean the canister and the icon goes off after about 100 miles?????

Possibly getting water in the connection on the fuel filter housing. After a 100 miles of a hot engine, it finally dries out.
