The last two times we have serviced the rear diff, we find water inside. We do not submerge the axle in any way. Seals have also benn replaced and we have no leaks. The worst condition is simply driving in rain occasionally. Any others encountered this problem?

In our race car we run synthetic rear end grease. It would build condensation in the rear end every night. We would just crack the drain plug and it would fill just the bottom of a coffee can with water before the grease would come out. I think that the gears can't get hot enough that they just build condensation. . Just a thought... .

I believe your vent hose may have come off. It is on the drivers side of axle at the point where the brake line junction is located. Hose should loop up to metal clip on bottom of bed. Take a look, if water is getting in, dust and dirt is also.
