I was bored and just browsing around ebay when I ran across this great deal on a water injection system. I thought I would share it with you since I already have Snow performance water injection. Its even the stage 3 kit which is the best one and most expensive one snow offers.

it says its new and current bid is at $470 with no reserve. I think this seller is gonna lose money for listing it wrong with no reserve but hey his loss is our gain right??? If my truck wasn't in the sorry state it is in now needing repairs I would buy the kit from the seller and sell it for more by listing it properly. I personally bought my snow performance kit on ebay and talked to the snow performance tech guys and they still hooked me up even though they knew where I bought the kit. I would really say top notch people at snow performance. but just thought I would share with those on a tight budget

What does a typical stage 3 kit run $$ ??



why did you have to call snow for tech help? something bad with your kit you purchased from ebay?

the kit normally sells for $745 at summit racing. A typical snow performance stage 3 water injection kit is the more expensive kit the offer cause all you do is turn on a switch and forget about it. It is the safest kit available to the diesels. water injection kits can add 100 hp to the cummins engines. all they do is chemically intercool the engine further than what the intercooler can. I think they can cool an engines intake charge close to 30%. beings that hot air coming out of a turbo is typically 300 degrees water methanol is a better than a cold air intake. A cold air intake only has cold air on the intake side of the turbo. the discharge side of the turbo on the engine intake side is very hot. chemically intercooling an engine with water methanol lowers the intake charge temp by around 90 degrees normally which greatly controls EGT's. I would highly reccomend this kit. I run it on my dodge and I like it very much. the methanol in the water is pretty much more fuel. you can get the water/ methanol mixture at any autoparts store as your just using windshield wiper fluid. in the world war 2 they used water injection on the P-51s to gain more power at higher altitude and for better take off. it was called the automatic power reserve as they flipped a switch and would nearly double the horsepower on those engines into the 2000 horspower range from what i have read. The stage 3 kit by snow performance is much simpler and can provide power over long perroids of time. you just turn on the kit and forget able it. its the safest kit available cuz it uses a computer to monitor how much to spray and when. I have the 8 gallon reservoir to go with mine and I go through 8 gallons of windshield washer fluid in about 2 weeks.



I called snow performance tech support cuz I had a problem and we found out I goofed on installation. They are a really good group of people. I dunno if you follow diesel pwoer magazine but Matt snow the owner flew all the way out to texas just to personally install his product on the "project x" truck diesel power magazine built u. many others have delt with snow performance and have had great success with them.

is there a low fluid warning? Ive heard some guys tap into the factory fluid container. Im going to need the kit in time.

No you buy low fluid indicator as an accessory if you use the included tank or their option 8 gallon tank. But the instructions are very clear and very easy to make the stock windshield fluid reservior a water meth injection tank. If you use the stock tank it already has a low fluid indicator that shows up on the dash and plays a chime to get your attention.

I love the power increase my Snow Performance stage 3 kit gave me. I haven't been able to get some offical 1/4 times yet since the drag strips are close for the winter but when I do get some times I will let yal know. but the horsepower gain is unreal!!! I wonder if I could put a second stage 3 water injection kit on my truck? I would buy if I knew that I could run 2 kits safely and produce even more power! cold air is awsome! But you have to remember then more air is compressed the hotter it gets. So the more boost your building the hotter the intake charge so if you run water meth injection your like freezing that boost. Does anyone know if you can stack water injection kits???
