Water Injection Equipment ?

I have a new in the box, but very old, seventies maybe, water injection kit made by Edelbrock. I originally bought it thinking I would put it on a gas rig I had at the time and pretty sure that is what it was designed for. Anyone know about these units or if it might be possible to adapt it to my first gen truck ? Oo.

What displacement was the car it was going into? (Please say a Big Block or RBB)

It was for a 440 PAW built up for towing it was about 500 horse. That motor is for sale by the way but needs rebuilt, I blew the head gaskets. Vera-Jection # 9356

Hmm well the kit is widely udes on todays "Boosted" 4 cyl crowdput it that way. With the pressures and preformance gains found in the diesel world of today, pumps now range from 100-300psi and jets range not just by size but stage.



Sure you *Could* use it but I am so not sure how it will react . . if at all.

Looks like this is one for the "when I have lots of free time on my hands list" of things to do. My father-in-law made his own injection unit for a chev pu with large camper and he increased power on long uphill grades. His was a drip system designed by trial and error.
