I seen how well it worked for BBD!

Don't let my number one fan fool you, he never saw how it ran, and never has anything good or positive to say, and he knows nothing about me except what he has read on the internet or heard via third party

Happy Holiday's Justin :D

I had the stacked snow kits for two years, worked great at that level, I was planning on the Scheid electriacl system as an upgrade, I bought the Corsa Data and Iteli Dash first however.

Lets tell the truth now...

I seen your truck run twice in person. Once at LACR, and the other at IRP 05.

Both times it was a horrible performance :-laf

Ok back to the regularly scheduled programming.

Merry Christmas to you too Scott!! :D

is the setup you made off the shelf parts,or do you have a shop. im sorry, this is forjhellman. i am tinkering with the fact of needing a high pressure system and i want to go another season before a major engine build as i have a champain dream on a beer income. the story with all of us.

That is another system that I forgot to bring up... Home-made setups. Anyone running something like this? I have heard of a few guys running systems like this but never got details about the systems. Anyone have any info on something like this also?

Dzlpower or something like that (username) uses a system usen a ford starter i think hes pushing 500 psi or so

I run a Ford starter motor and a pump from Staab Machine. I had an adaptor plate made out of billet aluminum to bolt the pump and starter motor together. I run 6 nozzles of varying sizes and set the pressure relief valve to whatever pressure I want to run. Right now I can make about 450-550 psi and use anywhere from 2qts to 1 gallon of water per run depending on nozzles and pressure. It is set up with a hobbs switch to come on at about 30 psi of boost. For next year I am going to use a boost shuttle valve to vary the amount of water to the amount of boost I am running. That way it comes on alot smoother and will increase water when my engine is running harder and needs it.

RCenters-- I tried giving you a call a couple times about that transmission and couldn't get ahold of you. I did get your messages though. If you would, give me a ring this weekend.

Our local pulling rules are letting us run water this year and its got me thinking about trying it. I am thinking about putting together my own "Kit" from some parts that I have access to. The only thing I dont know about is what pump to run. I am leaning to running a high pressure small droplet design with one injector per intake runner. What pressures does everyone see as ideal? Can I run to much pressure?

re

Jerrod if you are gonna run that close to the intake you are gonna need atleast 300 to 400 psi to get the water to vaporize before entering the combustion chamber. If not you will prolly just flood it.

also remember to use a one-way valve on your water line from the tank to the nozzles, so if you park on a slope, you wont flood the motor

just a tip

Jerrod:

I would recommend looking around at an R. V. supply store or dealer. Also, the "Camping World" chain of stores carries some pretty good water pumps for what you are looking at.

Good luck.
