Can somebody give me some details on this for an 00 ram 3500 dully? What are the benefits? + or -? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! :-laf
 
I am inclined to disagree with Dl5treez. Even on a completely stock truck, the HP gains from even a mild mix of Meth are on par with the cost of average HP ($10 per) The only thing that it lacks is the huge torque gains that we get with the other BOMBs out there.



I started out with a W/I kit on my truck with the only other power mod an Edge EZ. Marked improvement. The first run was with the EZ off (boost fooler only - no data port connection). 190. 88 hp & 436. 91 tq



Second run was EZ on level 2. 259. 11 hp & 663. 23 tq (+68. 23 & 226. 32)



Third and Fourth runs was the EZ on 2 and the Water/Meth (50/50 mix, 140 psi pump, 2 - 375ml injectors). 322. 78 & 314. 00 hp and 756. 04 & 758. 60 tq (+63. 67 & 92. 81)

I have not dynoed with anything other than a 50/50 mix.



Next weekend we are having a dyno day, and I plan on trying to do a few runs with water, standard off the shelf windshield washer fluid, and 50/50 again, each on injectors alone, and with the EZ. 7 runs, plus system purge after each swich. I don't know if I will be able to do all that. We are hoping for 50-60 trucks running that day.



Now, SOP says there is a little gain, as in I can feel it, but that is probably just added boost/more air at lower RPMs, which just means I am burning more fuel rather than puking it out the exhaust. With the system on, I am either climbing to or holding 14psi, or I am climbing from or holding 20. There is no 15-19 due to the rapid boost gain.
