Has anyone installed a water/methanol injection kit on there CTD ,and if so has it performed as required ? is there more than one manufacturer of these kits? Is this a good mod to run with one of the HP boost boxes? which is the best HP booster?

Thanks in anticipation

do a search on "snow performance" or "water/meth" . there are quite a few threads about this. i have been looking into it myself and should have gotten in the group purchase last year. didn't know enough about it then. I am not aware of any manufacturer other than Snow's.

hopefully some users will add their experiences here.

i have a two stage snow but its not on the truck yet, it is supposed to give me around 100 h. p peak but i wouldnt know because i work too much and dont have much time to tweak the cummins till its broke. i think the smaller kit is around 40-70 hp and the larger is around 90 h. p. , depends on the truck and mods...

I'd like to source the parts and try and make one myself, wonder if that's been done yet?

Years ago I did, then I found Matt Snow. The basic run down was it took twice as much water my way to do the same thing and the cost difference wasn't enough to talk about.

Whatever you choose... MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL A BACKFLOW-PREVENTER!!! An acquaintance who runs "hot-shots" installed one on his personal tow rig (a F. . F... F... . I can't say it but you know what I'm sayin!) and did not install a one-way valve... he parked on a slope one night and the next day had hydro-lock when he tried to start his truck (Re: cylinders full of water). Thousands and thousands in repairs! Just a FYI.
