Anyone know if there is a plug that I can add another water temp. sensor. I'm going to add an electric radiator fan and would like it to run off a thermostat.

Thanks

Gene, there are several pipe plugs in the cylinder head on the passenger side of the valve cover. They take a 1/2" square drive. That will be the hottest coolant temp area to tap.

Thanks, I may put a probe in the radiator. I found one that I can adjust to the temp. that is best for me.
I also found a 200-degree temperature switch for the coolant temp. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Electric-R...ure-Switch-Relay-Kit-200-Degree-/221938927618 . My truck seems to run right at 200 so I wouldn't want the fan to run all the time. Have you seen an adjustable switch?

Gene, just a question, why do you want or need to add an additional radiator fan? I just got back from a trip from Wyoming and going through Las Vegas, it was 112* and I was towing our 5th wheel with AC on. Gauge stayed at the middle to just right of the middle when climbing hills.

Mostly as a back up. I don't want to spend 450 for oem right now and we're heading west for six weeks. Easy to install an electric for just in case.

Just remember that the engine cooling fan also partially cuts in to keep the AC condenser cool too. It will take a real big capacity fan to do what the electric clutch fan does on the engine. How far west are you coming?
