Water Leak

Recently I had a bad rain water leak into the rear passenger side under seat storage area. I was parked with the front of the truck pointing down hill. I had a repeat under the same conditions and a hard rain. It may be coming in the sliding window area but I am not sure. Has anyone experienced a similar situation and if you how did you remedy it?

I had a leak around the third brake light one time.

I have have had this problem twice the first time the truck had sit for several days after it had rained so it was hard to trace. The second time I checked for the source of the leak and found that the channel that the sliding window slides in was full of water so I figured that was the source of the leak. Both times it leaked it was parked leaning to the passenger side of the truck which probably made it more convenient for the water to find it's way in. Parked on the level I have no leaks after a rain storm. I would think the truck pointing down hill would probably give it a better chance to seep in. I will be interested to see if anyone has a remedy for this problem, looking at the design of the window channel I am suprised it has not leaked more often. I now have anything that would be affected by moisture that is stored under the back seat in large (2 Gallon)ziplock bags just to be safe. The first leak ruined about a dozen emergency flares.
