Hey guys I live down here in TX on the coast and we have been experiencing some major rain. Unfortunately it has found its way into my truck! It will puddle by the opening of the passengers fron door( I have the Quad model) This has just started in the last few weeks and it seems to be getting worse. The problem is I can't seem to be able to find out where its coming in at. I had the thought of running water out of a hose on the top of the truck and tracing it in. Anybody got any better ideas?? Also the back window has started to leak at the very top soaking the headliner, are all my seals going bad? Is this a warranty thing? Thanks in advance for any advice.

The top three water leak locations seem to be the rear window, the area around the third brake light, and the clearance lights on the top of the cab.

These are al least good places to start looking.

Hope this helps.

Have ya'll started the internet search for plans on building an ark yet?;)

If you start seeing animals lining up two by two it might be too late. ;)

Thanks but I got no clearance lights, the leak is not coming from the brake light and its not in the rear of the truck. It is at the opening of the front passenger door( at least thats where it puddles up at) Anybody else got an idea?!

Third brake light leaks usually end up on the pass side floor with little evidence elsewhere. Easy enough to check. The brake light is by far the most common leak source, DC skimped on the gasket, silicone will fix it right up.

If you plug the cab air outlet vents at the bottom rear of the door jambs with duct tape, turn the fan on high in any position besides recirc then soapy water that bubbles on the outside of the truck will lead you to the leak.

If you pull up the threshold plate you will find where the weather seal joins together it has come apart. The water running down the door frame and sill will seep through that

joint , and the matting will be wet. . It can be fixed with some liquid rubber.
