It rained like hell last night and when I got in and went to work today, I had water like streaming on my leg. It was coming from the hook that the visor locks into on the drivers side. It wasnt a pile of water, maybe a couple ounces or so. Anyone else ever have this happen?

Tell the ******* to replace your clearance lights under warranty... There's a TSB out that for that... And make sure they change ALL of 'em. My ******* TRIED to get away with just caulking the originals, then I hit him with the TSB, and he tried only changing two. Had to read the TSB to him that says ALL of them get changed for the new design lights.

Huh ! Didn't know that if you write "Dealer" without the "D", and substitute "ST" that it won't let ya write it... When did THAT happen ? LOL

haha thats funny i was wondering what you were writing. so if i just got up to the dealer and tell him to change them, its under warranty?

Yes... Just make sure to make them aware that there IS a TSB on it, and they are to remove ALL the cab clearance lights, and replace them with the new design lights. Don't let them try that lame, cheap fix of taking off the old ones and caulking underneath them.

Been There... Same leak, same visor hook. Dealer did the TSB recommended repair BUT made me do the back-up alarm, out-of-park reflash. I did get the service manager to turn on the cruise control activated high idle while he was in there. That silly alarm is a PITA though!

What if you are out of warrrenty, is there an at home fix for this, or do i need to go to the dealer and buy the parts. Thought my coffee was spilling all over this morning intil i found the leak. Scott
