Water Level Accuracy

I have a 67 gallon potable water tank in my 2005 Nash 26X pull along.



I'm just getting used to everything. We went camping this weekend. We slowed down using water when the lights showed two red LED's. Got home and drained the tank into one gallon jugs. I had 40 gallons left. Well I guess I learned something... . when it shows almost empty it's more than half full.

There seems to be some discrepancy with many of the OEM monitors. I have to take mine with a grain of salt

I have never had good luck with the accuracy of the standard tank level indicators.

I don't think anybody has had good luck with accuracy of the typical OEM level gauges especially the black tank. After awhile you just learn how long it takes to empty or fill them depending on your life style. I had a friends wife could go through 60 gallons in 2 days and others including myself when being frugal going a week or more.
