need some Q/A on a used clutch

100 psi boost gauge

I've read up alittle on the idea of water/methanol injection. Seems it's main use is for racing (that I've seen so far). Is there anybody out there using it while towing?

Actually it should work fine in towing, you could have 2 nozzles in the hat for power while racing ect, then when you tow take one out and plug it and just use one... ... this is a thought! I'd talk to www.snowperformance.net about it and your application.

It sounds like it would all work. I was just wondering if anybody out there has any exprience using it while towing.

Instead of maybe plugging one of the nozzles, what about running two tanks with a solenoid to switch between them? Each tank having a different mix, one for racing (50/50) and one for towing (more water than methanol or just straight water). I think it was sticks who posted that idea (or something similar) in one of the other threads I read. Would there be any ill effects to putting straight water into the engine? I've read it doesn't hurt when it's mixed with the methanol.

hmmmmmmm seems like nobody has much exprience on towing with water/methanol injection. I didn't call Snow Peformance but I posted on the forum board a few days back, but haven't got a reply yet. Maybe I should look at some different turbo options first.

I tow with mine, I still have yet to get it dialed in though. I think I need to remove one of the nozzles or just get the two smaller ones. With the pump pressure turned way down and the 625ml nozzles I get about a 75-100 degree drop in EGT, still uses alot of water. Still testing as we speak . Dean
