dose anyone have a snow performance water meth injc. done. i was woundering if its is worth is, and how much power did you gain? mpg's?

Snow Performance Meth h20 injection

Have stage 2 you get more power, runs cooler temps, also have be carefull with the mix, make sure you have studs, &:D water the mix at a higher %, im on my second head gasket!

I have it on my 2002 for about three years or so. I had to replace the pump once already as they can't take the fluid forever without ruining the seals. I personally now like the Cooling mist system better. Using their controller and stainless jets. I have a six gallon container in the bed. You will notice the kick when it engages.

Just FYI,

We at Snow Performance have switched to a new pump design made in the USA, with an ISO 9000 company (Aquatech). We have been using them since early July, and I have one about a year old now on my bench. Not one single failure so far. At all. Anywhere. Which is why we provide a 2 year warranty standard on all our systems.

I'm not on here to advertise so much as provide tech info, so if anyone has any questions, please just let me know.

Thanks,

Derek

I have an original kit from Matt when he started selling on E-bay, on my second pump and using after market stainless nozzles, running Pure Methanol

I should say that I am running about 60% Methanol and 40% DI water. The difference in that and and washer fluid is night and day. I found Methanol for $2. 00 a gallon (two weeks ago)

Often the methanol content will have a big impact on power like that. Good to hear!

Thats a very low price too on the methanol. I usually see it from 4-10 dollars/Gallon.

OH GREAT, Spent the big BUCKS on the Mileage Max Stag 3 a year and a half ago and find out now that the PUMP was NOT DESIGNED for ALCOHOL. Wonder how much more I get to spend for another pump. I'm sure this one will last 2 years and a day or two. Can't expect them to warranty them for ever. But I would at least expect them to design everything to be compatible.

The old pump is also designed for alcohol. As with the Aquatech, we did not use your run of the mill Shurflo. We used different internals on the diaphram etc.

If your old pump is out of warranty (we do offer a lifetime one) we can still do discounts on all replacement parts. Call me at 866-365-2762 and we can figure that out.

In the December issue of Diesel power shows a add on AEM Water-Methanol injection pumps. A one gal pump 72 watts, A 144 watts for a 5 gal system AEM Air Intakes - AEM Cold Air Intake Systems & Dryflow Air Filters 800-992-3000 pumps run continuously, no cycling, for better reliability! Im thinking about my Snow performance pump, its not working to good!:)

The really funny thing about that is that that 'new' limiter strategy there is what the SHO pump already runs. Nobody uses the older limiter style anymore, and with the high flow rates of diesel systems, the pulsation was never a salient issue anyway. It's a solution in search of a problem.

I'm still in warranty and the pump is working fine. Got 6 months to go on the warranty. But I'm keeping your Name and Number just in case. Hopefully you won't here from me for a long time. Trust me I think your product is great. It has done everything I wanted and more. ata
