winterize

Over the weekend the water pump in my fiver started cycling on/off only when using the faucet at the vanity. With this happening I also had a very weak-but continous- water flow. All other faucets & the comode operated normally. Any ideas ??

Try cleaning the faucet strainer. Simple stuff first.

Agree try strainer, make sure line clamps tight, etc. How cold is it, problem with slightly slushy water? Pump slightly worn and needs a tweek adjustment. On my Sureflo the screw for that on front of pump. Turn a little makes big diff, to increase or decrease pressure. All else fails most pumps have rebuild kits I think the Shurflo does I know. Reason vanity doing something diff. than others is it's relatively location with pump location in the sytem more than likely. Hope it helps.

fixed

Thanks, guys. I had already checked screen for debris--none there. Tonight I removed the screen again & turned water on--a divertor(?) behind the screen had a very small piece of rubber in it--removed that & it is back to normal. Still do not know where it came from. Thanks again for the replys. :D: :D:

Happy Trails!!
