What kind of water temp are you running during the winter ? :-{}

Do you use a winter front ? :rolleyes:

I'm running about 180* with a blockage directly on the radiator of approx. 60%. :)

It seems to be heating up nicely during the real cold times. ;)

I've had both my trucks blocked at least 70% and they run about 170F. It does help them warm up faster. I use plain ol' cardboard, cheap and effective! :D

I put it in over 2 months ago. The winter cold hit Thankgsiving weekend, and it's been several degrees colder than average all winter.

Vaughn,

I went to Home Depot to get thin door mats. I use the rubber side out.

Since they can be slid in & out according to the weather. I slide them between the supports in front of the radiator & the radiator. It works for me. ;)

I had a cold front made for my truck, and with that on, and the fan off, the truck will only get up around 150 running down the highway. If I leave it idling for an hour or so at 1200rpm, the temp might get up to 165.
