drag reduction for 5th wheel

Just came back from spending 14 days in a 30' 5th wheel (parked) with wife. When we got ready to come home yesterday there was water running down the walls under all the windows and some dampness on the walls in places from condensation. It was pretty cold the entire 14 days and we only ran the heater. My wife did cook quiet a bit in the trailer but had the vent fan on. I turned the heater up high yesterday and turned the AC on to try to get rid of some of the water. You guy have any advice to help aleviate or lessen this problem? bg

Propane contains a lot of moisture and cooking and heating aggravates the problem. Try using an electric heater in the future.

It is critical to open a roof vent over the shower and crack a window open to allow moisture to escape. With two of you breathing/exhaling, showering, cooking, etc. all in a small confined space damage to the trailer will result if not ventilated.

Ditto to HBarlow. We've used our trailers for years often in sub zero weather. We always have a roof vent open to let out humid air. Our guideline is if there is frost forming a lot on windows and frames there is to much humidity inside and we do something to get rid of it. We are looking at upgrading this year and some of the new units have a humidity control system.

Thanks for the replies. We usually don't have a lot of problems dawn here with extended cold weather. I will try to do better with the venting system. bg
