I just got back from a weekend run after adding red lines water wetter. It WORKs the guage runs cooler and it cools off much faster now. I didn't have an overheating problem but figured it couldn't hurt. If your running hot give it a try.

My experience with it was that if I had a good 50/50 coolant mix I couldn't tell any difference in running temps. It may allow you to run a slightly thinner mix (maybe 40/60) and that would help cool it a bit. This isn't advisable though because you need the corrosion inhibitors, although the Water Wetter has some of those. I don't think I'll be using it any more. I took my thermostat out for while (in the summer) just to experiement. Again, not recommended. This was on a 7. 3 Ford.

I used Water Wetter in my Big block Cuda a few years ago. The stuff works! It lowered my water temp by about 20 degrees.
