Auto parts store that sells a wax type of window cleaner. Can't remember the name of the cleaner wax. Visit your favorite store and ask for it they should know what is. Works great then apply rain-x to keep the water spots down or dry after washing.

My BIL showed me a MR Clean kit he bought at Wal-Mart that has a filter and soap in it... . I now use that kit to wash, and rinse my vehicles... . what ever is in the filter will prevent spotting and allows the vehicle to air dry very nicely... .

When one is really dirty I'll wash it with soap and water, and than give it a light wash with the kit and rinse...

i dont have many water spots on the paint as i do the glass. but that is good to keep in mind. i forgot about that kit... ... ...

so do you guys know of a good way to take off water spots from glass?

Loren's Super Secret Glass Cleaner:

  • 2 tablespoons Simple Green
  • 1/2 cup white distilled vinegar
  • 1 quart distilled or purified water

Spray on glass. Wipe with microfiber towel. Repeat if necessary.

Also works for water spots on painted surfaces.

This is a super secret recipe. Don't tell anyone.

Use a light buffing compound on your buffing wheel. You will never have a cleaner windshield. It will also remove light scratches and nicks.

Glass water spots.

My '07 arrived via auto transport from Dave Smith with water spots on the windshield. I was able to remove them with Invisible Glass,a new razor blade and microfiber cloth. I need to do it again as some spots are reappearing.
