Yet the republicans refused to address the border issues, as those that pay them to be in office want the cheap labor!

Easy tiger. The Democrats certainly aren't refusing the political support from undocumented immigrants either. I wish both parties would create a solution together and do it soon.

After reading about and seeing some pics from some recent cartel killings, I'm thinking driver licenses are they least of our concerns.

No,they are a big concern. It allows illegal aliens unfettered mobility throughout our country. Who and what they transport is anybody's guess.

"I wish both parties would create a solution together and do it soon."

This pretty much applies to most any challenge we face as a society and country together. I don't understand it, but we appear to have gotten to the point where all that can be accomplished is declaring, by screaming in the loudest voice possible with spittle flying from our lips, that the other point of view can only be held by a morally defective person of impaired mental ability and questionable parentage who is clearly a traitor to all that is good and true. Coming to an agreement with an opposing point of view that compromises your own point of view in any degree whatsoever has now become an evil beyond all compare. Thus, if our own point of view cannot be completely and wholly implemented then above all else we must stop the implementation of any action representing the opposing point of view in the most minuscule degree.

It doesn't seem to me that much can get done with such attitudes. I note that, indeed, nothing gets done.

Serious problem that is decades overdue for an effective approach to dealing with. Not holding my breath in anticipation of a solution.

You're a Californian Big, so Im not sure why you're pooping where ya eat.

I don't know how you figure this????? im not in Commiefornia and sure wasn't born in the state so it must be from the lack of water and 22 rounds that have you Califused

^^ You lived most of your life here, made a living a here and created your retirement money here. You might have moved to another state, but you're STILL a Californian. Or has the story changed again?

Well if that's the case for Several years I made money in 11 Western states driving my own truck. So is that supposed to mean that im a resident of all 11 states.

No your right I made more money in Calif than any other, But its not a HOME state unless your birth is in the state.

Even when I made this money Calif HAS ALWAYS BEEN A Piece of Excrement State. No place on the planet can you find a bunch of self absorbed morons willing to open the doors and coffers to any ignorant POS that can crawl, swim, jump over the fence to become someone's LAWN BOY or even a Room Fumigator in a Roach Motel that not even a bed bug would be caught dead in.

Bottom line is WE made the money in what ever state we lived in by working at jobs in a state that Taxes more than most and gives it to anyone who has their hand out FOR FREE!!

if you choose to live what ever life you have with illegals that's up to you. We made our money and left and return occasionally to snatch up a used auto of someone's BIG DREAM LIFE in Commiefornia that DIDN'T GET OFF THE GROUND.

Here is another fine California program that Washington DC may adopt. So we can all quit our jobs, file for unemployment, food stamps and promise not to be a criminal and make money doing it.

WASHINGTON (AP) — They say crime doesn’t pay, but that might not be entirely true in the District of Columbia as lawmakers look for ways to discourage people from becoming repeat offenders.

The D.C. Council voted unanimously Tuesday to approve a bill that includes a proposal to pay residents a stipend not to commit crimes. It’s based on a program in Richmond, California, that advocates say has contributed to deep reductions in crime there.
Under the bill, city officials would identify up to 200 people a year who are considered at risk of either committing or becoming victims of violent crime. Those people would be directed to participate in behavioral therapy and other programs. If they fulfill those obligations and stay out of trouble, they would be paid.
The bill doesn’t specify the value of the stipends, but participants in the California program receive up to $9,000 per year.

Will it ever end ?

Dave

NO IT WONT as long as the scum can jump the fence. When the males hit the ground on the other side of the fence they spring up with their hands out and able to speak the only English that they know. " I made it now everything is Free" the females hit the ground and CRAP out an Anchor turd and that makes them SOMEWHAT legal NOT IN MY BOOK.

and all the while employers of these ? hire them. They are just as much a criminal as the crap that jumps the fence.

Here's what the dust bugs in the Roach Motel that MOMMY & DADDY left you COST!!!

Californians bear an enormous fiscal burden as a result of an illegal alien population estimated at almost 3 million residents. The annual expenditure of state and local tax dollars on services for that population is $25.3 billion. That total amounts to a yearly burden of about $2,370 for a household headed by a U.S. citizen.

YA Hire a few more :-laf

AND YOU EXPECT PEOPLE TO STAY :-laf

This piece explains a lot about what is happening and how we got here! You might be surprised who this is written about! To right the ship of state we need to refuse to be divided like we are today. Acknowledge it or not, we the people are being managed into two groups at the extreme ends, while nothing gets done.

Good post, Chris, and a point well taken. I think all of us are being manipulated, not just the young but the older folks as well.

Good find Sno. I'm utterly surprised this article is from the SacBee. I used to love reading the Bee when we lived in N Ca. Over the last 20 years however, the articles have become horribly biased.

Roach Motel? Thanks Big. I'm fed up with your lies and BS stories. I don't think you even live in Montana, and I wouldn't doubt that you are still in the LA area.

All of those pics you post are pics you taken from Googleq images. You're a fake, and a liar. But hey, this is the inter-web and you can be whoever you want to be.

Well, that little rant just cost you a big chunk of credibility. The photos I've seen of the inside of his home, barn, pole buildings, tractors, cattle etc weren't Googled. But I guess folks like you attack the messenger when they can't attack the message. I'd put money on Bigs claims before yours about a new truck. For all we know you're posting photos of your neighbors new rig. I guess we all need to have a little faith in what we're being told about one another.
