Flying J Truckstops Are History

Guys, there is a man in Houston, Texas that bought a 3/4 ton '04 Dodge to pull his BIG King of the Road 5er. Realizing he did not have enough tire, he bought a set of 4 Rickson Alloy 19. 5 wheels and a had a set of Toyo 225/70/19. 5 load range F installed. He also has the SS lug nuts and center caps.

He would only run the Ricksons when he pulled the 5er. The have less than 30K miles on them.

He sold the 5er. Get this, wants $850 for the entire set of wheels and tires. They are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy to cheap. If I did not have my set, I would be all over these like gravy on a chicken fried steak.

Craigslist/Houston... ... ... ..... auto parts... ... ... . search Rickson. I just talked to him tonight... ... ... . nice guy. Not a TDR member.

Someone hurry before I get any weaker... ... ... ... ... .

Well, here is my thinking. I am going to need 2 tires in the next 15 to 20 K miles. Two new Bridgestones are 700 Bucks!!

Or I could spend $850 and not only have 4 tires but a set of Alloys to go with them... ... ... ... ... .

If nobody buys them by tomorrow evening when I get back, I think I will own them!

They are toooooooooooooooooo cheap!

Sounds like the set I have. I have the Ricksons and 245/70-19. 5. They have performed perfectly. tow my heavy 5er also. put only 7000 miles this year on them. have the stockers back on now as it is done with towing what I will do this year. So yeah it is worth it to have the 19. 5" tires and rims
