We have come a long way

This weekend I picked up a 4x4 offroad mag(dont remember what is was) from 1997 and found an article about a 96 CTD dually that someone had " pump work done to it". The article stated that this truck had a " unheard of, stump pulling 700 ft lbs of rear wheel torque" . What does it take for 700 now? Maybe an EZ and dd1's or changing the plate on a 12v ? Boy we've come a long way in 5 short years!
