Oo. I did my first fuel filter change yesterday. Thanks to all the threads on this board, it was a piece of cake. Once I was ready to reinstall the housing with the new filter in it, I filled it with fuel until the fuel was spilling out. I got it back in the engine compartment without spilling any of it, reattached the housing, plugged sensor back in, got in truck, turned the key and the pump ran for 5 seconds. Ticked the starter and it ran for about 30 seconds. Went for the first startup attempt and BINGO she started right up and has ran like a dream since. Thanks for all the information on this topic. Made life real easy and saved myself a few bucks!
