The following link is to a story of a young girl and her struggle with Lou Gehrig’s disease. After reading the article I could only sit back and reflect on the heartbreak that this family must have endured. Looking at this picture of my six children, and knowing that something just as devastating could have easily happened to anyone of them ,reminds me of just how blessed I am.
