LSR-E.jpgIssue 95 of the Turbo Diesel Register is finally arriving in Member's mailboxes. At the Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association (SEMA) show last November, you wouldn't have believed the number of Cummins-powered show trucks and cars that were on exihbit. I was inspired to write the "Cummins When Cummins Wasn't Cool" article.

This article references a project that the membership was a part of way back in 1996 - A Dodge/Cummins Turbo Diesel truck that set a land speed record at the Bonneville Salt Flats. I mentioned in that article that I would post links back to the magazines that covered that event as, collectively, we were Cummins when Cummins wasn't cool!

Enjoy reading about the 141.256 mph adventure with a '94 truck and a 450hp, 12-valve engine. Imagine what we could do today ... another subject for another day.
