Weak Overhead Lighting??????

My message center overhead that usually so far has only shown compass and temp has such a weak lighting, I can not read it without leaning over so my head is close and to the center. My other three Dodge trucks have had this well lighted like the dash lights. I have tried the dimmer in all positions and the console light is weak even when headlights are off. Anyone else had this problem. 2008 3500 Quad cab long bed... .

No problems with that here. If fact I have no problem seeing mine even in full sun. I often turn the dimmer down when driving at night or it is to bright.

I have noted that with sunglasses on I can't read the display when heading towards the sun. Not as bad with regular glasses. Seems to me it is caused by glare or sun reflecting off the dash. Sure is annoying.

i agree mine is very bright !!!

I have the same issue. To dim and to much glare so I can't read it half the time

Maybe it is just the 2008. You guys with the bright ones seem to be 2007 or 2007. 5... ...
