weak preassure valve

I am getting a small prolong crank sometimes. I had been running a pressure box for about 5k miles and I stoped, only to use it for raceing. If theat souds like a weak valve can i shim it or is that a no no? thanks for your info anything halps.

it's real easy to check, get a socket and remove the banjo bolt on top of the valve (dont loose the washer) and start the truck. if it leaks,it's bad.

600 hp on drugs! But it was well worth the price of admission to watch that dyno pull if you know what I mean. :--)

since you have an ancient chinese secret for mod's than i would call wade, user name "diesel power"and get a rail cap!!!

ok I will do that. OK now I got another problem. It happend after a drag race. I have a really prolong start, rough idle and low oil preassure and white smoke I thought it was the turbo but it is still goood. ? does that sound like a fuel problem or bad engine.

Well I just droped it off at the dealer this afternoon, with all of the bombs on they are probably going to freck out. I quess I am going to have fo grab my anckles on this one. And my bad the truck has good oil preassure. I am thinking it sound like like a bad injecter, there is a moderate amount of white smoke coming and it sounds like its have a crazy cam in it.
