Webasto Blueheat on 06

Anyone install one of these units on an 06? Was there much to the install? Where did you mount the unit? I can get one of these for a relatively reasonable price so I may do it if there aren't any known drawbacks.

We looked at becoming a Webasto dealer 2 years ago. . they only wanted dealers who would install their products and wouldn't allow over the counter, or internet sales... . Plus their program would have forced 2 of my techs to attend a week long school at a location of their choice... at my expense... not that I wouldn't do that... but when you limit your sales to installed items only... you've taken away 60% of your market... we are 80% wholesale to the HD truck industry... . we are now selling to professionals... . didn't make sense to us so we passed... . just to long to recover the investment.....



Other than that... . I think the product is a great one for those trucks that spend 5-6 months a year in very cold weather...



BTW - We have a warehouse in Calgary and Edmonton... . where in Alberta are you?

Jim, I am in Medicine Hat. The item is available at one of the truck shops in town. They seemed to have no issues with me doing the install. Perhaps the rules changed?
